Hosted by Warren Byrne, everything you always wanted to know about dining out…from pizza to chateaubriand. Share your discoveries, suggestions, questions & opinions with Warren!!
Warren has hosted the Restaurant Show in Denver since 1978. Every Wednesday evening and Saturday afternoon, Denver diners have the opportunity to praise or pan restaurants, seek comments on area restaurants from other listeners and search out specific dishes they've been longing for.
Warren likens his show to a cocktail party where the subject of the conversation often turns to "Let me tell you about this restaurant we went to last night..." Everyone loves to dine out, and then share their experiences—good or bad—with others. And while Warren often offers his own opinions on restaurants, he insists that, because everyone has different likes and dislikes when dining out, the show simply be a resource of information enabling diners to decide where they want to spend their dining dollars.
The result of all this is a fast-paced, information-packed show that will have you scrambling to write down names and phone numbers of all the restaurants you'll learn about during the program. Just one word of caution--anyone on a diet should use discretion about listening to the Restaurant Show.

When people ask Warren how he became interested in food, he often quips that he began eating as a baby, and it just became a habit.
Actually, Warren can't remember a time when he didn't enjoy food. Growing up in New York, he was exposed to a wide variety of ethnic cuisines, though his real love affair with food didn't begin until after college. In the mid-seventies, he combined his fondness for fine dining with a backround in theatre, and launched his radio career. Over twenty years later, he looks back and marvels that he had no idea what he was doing or where he was going, but somehow it all came together to create the most successful radio talk show in Denver.
Today, you'll still find Warren in the kitchen when he's not dining out. He enjoys dabbling in Italian and Southeat Asian cuisines, and finds cooking a relief from everyday stress. He likes to joke that you can tell how stenuous his day was by how many courses he's preparing.
